Intelligent Agriculture: A Raspberry Pi-Driven IoT Solution for Optimized Farming
Author(s) | Anand Patil |

Country | India |
Abstract | This paper introduces an intelligent farming system that utilizes the Internet of Things (IoT) and a Raspberry Pi-based setup. The primary goal is to enhance agricultural practices, especially in rural areas, by improving overall efficiency. Since farming plays a crucial role in rural development, advancing agricultural systems is essential for the progress of Indian agriculture. In this proposed system, sensors continuously monitor environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and other key parameters. Any changes are detected and communicated to the Raspberry Pi for analysis. Over-irrigation is a common issue that negatively impacts plant growth and depletes soil moisture, potentially leading to problems like waterlogging and soil salinity. This smart system aims to address these challenges by promoting energy conservation, better resource management, and healthier, more efficient plant growth. |
