Rooted in profound philosophical systems like Ved?nta, S??khya, Yoga, and Buddhism, meditation is not merely a therapeutic tool but a transformative s?dhan? (discipline) for attaining inner harmony. This paper explores the relevance of meditation for mental health from the lens of Indian philosophy, demonstrating how its metaphysical foundations and practical techniques provide enduring solutions for emotional well-being, psychological clarity, and spiritual growth.
