Author(s) Dr. Priti Shukla, Dr. Varsha Sharma, Dr. Rachit Thukral
Country India
Abstract Bracket placement is the most crucial step of direct bonding in orthodontics. Various hand instruments have been used a tool for obtaining accuracy in this step. The bracket needs to be positioned at a particular height from the incisal or occlusal edge along with its orientation to the long axis of the crown. We have thus used William’s® periodontal probe as a bracket placement tool due to its reproducibility and accuracy in bracket placement.
