Abstract | The purpose of the study is to create and assess hollow microspheres filled with Lercanidipine. Ethyl cellulose, Polyethleneoxide, Hydroxypropyl cellulose K15M, and Eudragit L 100 were used as polymers, together with dichloromethane and ethanol as solvents, to create Lercanidipine -loaded hollow microspheres. The physicochemical characteristics, in-vitro drug release, and in-vitro buoyancy of the produced hollow microspheres were assessed. The hollow microspheres were studied using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. The in vitro experiments showed that the largest amount of medication was released from hollow Lercanidipine microspheres made with ethyl cellulose and HPMCK15M in a 2:1 ratio (F2). |
