Addressing Rudimentary Horn Anomalies in Unicornuate Uterus
| Author(s) | Dr. ANNU SHARMA |

| Abstract | Background and Context: Unicornuate uterus with rudimentary horn is a rare congenital uterine anomaly resulting from incomplete Müllerian duct development, with significant implications for reproductive health in India's diverse healthcare landscape. This condition affects approximately 1 in 4,000 women globally, with rudimentary horn pregnancies occurring in 1 in 76,000 to 1 in 140,000 pregnancies[1][2]. The complexity of diagnosis and management is compounded by India's healthcare infrastructure disparities and sociocultural factors affecting women's reproductive health access. |
