| Abstract | Abstract Background: Cornual (often used interchangeably with interstitial) pregnancy is a rare, high-risk ectopic implantation in the intramural segment of the fallopian tube. It accounts for roughly 2–4% of ectopic pregnancies but carries a disproportionate risk of catastrophic hemorrhage and first-trimester maternal mortality if missed. In India, where maternal mortality continues to fall yet remains heterogeneous across states, early detection and equitable access to fertility-preserving treatments are public-health priorities |
