| Abstract | Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is one of the world’s most economically important crop. An efficient and reproducible tissue culture procedure for the generation of shoots is a pre-requisite for crop improvement. Two step method was employed in shoot regeneration from various explants i.e stem, Leaf and Tuber disc. Where step I or step II media alone did not yield any substantial shoot formation.
