| Abstract | The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 represents a landmark shift in India's approach to education, marking the first comprehensive overhaul since 1986. Designed to align the Indian education system with 21st-century global standards, the policy emphasizes inclusivity, flexibility, and holistic development across all levels of learning. NEP 2020 envisions a transformative future, but its success hinges on several critical factors, including robust infrastructure, enhanced teacher training, clear policy guidelines, and sustained financial investment. The ambitious reforms also highlight the need to bridge regional disparities and ensure equitable access to quality education. While NEP 2020 is a step in the right direction, realizing its full potential requires a focused and coordinated effort across stakeholders. |
