| Abstract | This quantitative study aims to assess the efficiency of the shuttle service system within Mindanao State University–General Santos City (MSU-GSC) in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. This case study focuses on four key indicators, mainly average waiting time, passenger load factor, punctuality of shuttle services, and identification of peak and off-peak hours. One hundred respondents, comprising students and employees who regularly use the service, participated in structured surveys and observational methods conducted over two weeks. The findings will provide the MSU-GSC administration with empirical data on shuttle performance, identifying specific gaps and potential areas for improvement. Overall, this study aims to uncover the solution to address the gaps in the transportation system, creating a more reliable and efficient university transportation system that fosters improved academic punctuality, operational effectiveness, and progress toward achieving sustainable and inclusive mobility aligned with global SDG targets. |
