| Abstract | This study presents the analysis, design, estimation, and comparison of a commercial Reinforced Concrete (RC) building with a prefabricated building. Structural elements were designed using the Limit State Method considering standard loads. A detailed quantity take-off and cost estimation were prepared for both systems. The results show that the prefabricated building is more economical and faster to construct compared to the conventional RC structure. However, the RC building provides better durability and structural rigidity. The study highlights the advantages and limitations of both systems to support informed decision-making in commercial construction projects. |
