Abstract	In the era of material success brimming to the heights of advancement, the mankind feels the need for resurrection of consciousness which is the governing force of life. It is a bitter truth that the quest for fulfillment remains ever poorly the same. The restlessness that creeps in amidst the valour of expanding knowledge seems to weigh us down in every walk of life. In the wave of materialism, it becomes difficult for us to touch the ground. In the era where we are taken over by science, technology, artificial intelligence and congested lifestyle, we need an urgent reminder to look within, to access and rediscover our rooted wisdom lying in the dormant state. The paper attempts to study the importance and relevance of spiritual consciousness as reflected in the epic Savitri by the great Seer poet Sri Aurobindo. The astral travel of Sage Aswapathy and his daughter Savitri act as a mirror for our own untapped potential that can liberate us from the engulfing chains of the material world, also called as maya. The proposed paper is a calling for the mankind to reconsider the purpose of life, sharpen our levels of consciousness that can help us overtake the frames of Time and Fate. The study highlights the need for inner engineering that can be achieved through spiritual tools like yogic practice and the noble company of the awakened. Savitri’s transcendental journey is a road map for transformation we all can eventually experience. Spiritual practice is evolutionary and not revolutionary, it neither demands renunciation nor distasteful starvation from the earthly life but Savitri stands as a firm reminder that it is high time we need to actively design our life in a way that it naturally becomes conducive for spiritual elevation. Conquering our soul is not an after-retirement programme but it has to be an effortless part of our lifestyle. The epic Savitri is dynamic in its approach, revelatory of its highest kind, inviting the reader’s great interest in intricately researching its practical application in our lives. The paper reflects how the most significant goal of our life is abstract in nature and is experiential in kind but not experimental. It shifts our mental state and inspires us to create a new world order.
