| Abstract | Sleep deprivation is one of the major problems affecting college students in recent years due to academic pressure, lifestyle habits, and excessive use of digital devices. This study examines the impact of sleep deprivation on cognitive function, academic performance, and stress levels among college students. A quantitative research design was used, and data were collected from 199 participants using standardized psychological tools. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Spearman’s correlation, and independent samples t-test. The findings revealed that insufficient sleep significantly increased stress levels and reduced cognitive functioning and academic performance. Sleep-deprived students showed lower attention, poor memory, and reduced motivation compared to those with healthy sleep patterns. The study highlights the importance of healthy sleep habits and suggests interventions such as time management training, counseling programs, and sleep education to improve students’ academic and psychological well-being. |
