A Study of Whether Digital Payments Reduce Consumer Sensitivity to Small Price Changes in Urban Markets

Abstract This study explores whether digital payments reduce consumer sensitivity to small price changes in urban markets. Based on primary data collected through a structured questionnaire, the study finds that consumers using digital payment methods may be less aware of minor price increases compared to cash users. The study highlights the behavioural impact of digital payments on everyday spending decisions.
