| Abstract | RescueGrid is an integrated platform in the field of bio-logistics that aims to eradicate life-threatening delays in the acquisition of blood and organs in emergency cases. In the current healthcare infrastructure, there is a lack of coordination between various hospitals and donors, which often results in a shortage of resources in emergency cases. To overcome this problem, the RescueGrid platform has been developed using the latest technology stack consisting of React.js, FastAPI, and PostGIS. This platform enables the real-time matching of donors using spatial and geolocation analysis. It also allows for immediate sharing of emergency situations and real-time GPS tracking of resources on the way, helping to coordinate emergency surgeries with the precise arrival of those resources. This has improved the "vein-to-vein" logistics management in emergency cases. |
