| Abstract | This paper presents a comprehensive qualitative investigation into the identity shifts experienced by long-term remote workers ;-individuals who have worked outside traditional office environments for two or more consecutive years. Drawing on Goffman's (1959) dramaturgical theory, identity work theory (Alvesson & Willmott, 2002; Pratt et al., 2006), and boundary theory (Ashforth et al., 2000; Clark, 2000), the study explores how employees construct and reconstruct their professional self-concepts within digitally mediated work environments. |
