| Abstract | The primary objective of this research is to investigate the effect of work-life balance on employee retention among Generation Z gig workers. The proposed research will attempt to analyse the impact of different factors influencing work-life balance, including working hours, flexibility, and stress levels, on the retention of Gen Z gig workers. Primary data will be collected using a structured questionnaire created using Google Forms and administered to Gen Z employees who are gig workers, while secondary data will be collected from published articles, journals, papers, and reports on existing research. This proposed research aims to uncover the factors that influence work-life balance and determine their effect on employee retention and propose appropriate measures to address work-life balance and employee retention. The primary findings of this proposed research are expected to show that work-life balance has a significant effect on employee retention among Gen Z gig workers. |
