| Abstract | This study presents The Student Mart, a school-based experiential learning model designed to integrate vocational education with practical retail operations in alignment with India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The model addresses the gap between theoretical instruction and real-world application by enabling students to manage a retail unit within the school premises, while also meeting their daily needs for essential merchandise. Using a descriptive, practice-based approach, the study examines the implementation and outcomes of the model in a secondary school context. Findings indicate improvements in student engagement, financial literacy, communication skills, and entrepreneurial mindset. The study highlights the potential of Student Mart as a scalable and sustainable framework for strengthening vocational education through experiential learning. |
