| Abstract | Parental stress is a significant psychological concern that arises when the demands of parenting exceed an individual’s coping capacity. Parents of children with special needs often face additional challenges such as increased caregiving responsibilities, social stigma, and limited access to support services, which can contribute to higher stress levels. Despite growing awareness, there is limited comparative research examining how parental stress differs between parents of children with special needs and those with typically developing children. This study aims to address this gap by providing a comparative understanding of parental stress within these two groups. |
