| Abstract | The Republic of India administers the largest democratic court system on Earth — yet more than five crore matters remain pending across the Supreme Court, twenty-five High Courts, and the district judiciary. This backlog is not a transient operational defect but the cumulative residue of a 160-year-old colonial statutory inheritance, an opaque bench-allocation tradition, a multilingual citizenry served by a near-monolingual courtroom, and a digital divide that silently disenfranchises the poor, the tribal, the rural, and the differently abled. JURISFLOW AI — branded for deployment under the NyayaNet Jurisflow programme and hosted at the prototype location https://nyayanetjurisflow.com — is a first-of-its-kind super-legal artificial intelligence platform engineered explicitly for this constitutional moment. It unifies five hitherto disjointed stages of a legal life-cycle (Voice intake, AI classification under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023, AI-assisted drafting, federated jurisdictional routing, and verifiable random bench assignment) into a single observable pipeline that respects the sovereignty of every High Court while granting parity of access to every citizen. The architecture is federated by design: each High Court retains custody of its corpus, only cryptographic hashes traverse the inter-court mesh, and every routing decision is published to a public audit ledger that any litigant or journalist may inspect. The platform is voice-first across thirty-six-plus constitutional and tribal languages — including Santali, Gondi, Bhili, and Mundari — so that a tribal grandmother in Jharkhand and a senior counsel in Delhi may reach the same bench, on the same day, in their respective mother tongues, with measurably identical priority. A chi-squared uniformity test is run continuously on the bench-allocator to certify zero statistical bias, and a Verifiable Random Function ensures cryptographic unpredictability of judge assignment. This mini-thesis presents the scientific motivation, federated systems architecture, multilingual natural-language stack, zero-bias allocation algorithm, prototype walkthrough, methodology, comparative benchmarking against incumbent Indian and global legal-technology offerings, ethical and constitutional safeguards, and a phased roadmap targeting two High Courts in Q3-2026 and statutory recognition as India's federated AI legal backbone by 2028. The work argues that JURISFLOW is novel not in any single component but in the integrated constitutional ambition of those components — a thesis substantiated by an extensive comparative review of LexisNexis, Manupatra, Westlaw Edge, Harvey AI, Casetext, SUVAS, SUPACE, and the e-Courts Mission Mode Project. |
