These measures over the years have undergone changes to suit various aspects like newer modes of labour, stronger enforcement mechanisms and international parameters. Knowledge regarding legal provisions on child labour is imperative for parents, teachers, policy makers and NGO's to implement child rights in the country. The caste and Varna systems have segregated society in various social sections. Some sections do not have the benefits and rights of having power or position but some groups of individuals receive benefits. The weaker sections have been called weaker sections.
