| Abstract | The study examines the concept of the dark web, a hidden part of the internet accessible only through specialized software like Tor. Originally developed to enable anonymous communication, the dark web is now widely associated with cybercrime and illegal black market activities. Using an empirical research approach and responses from 193 participants, the study found that the dark web is perceived as a major platform facilitating cybercrimes and illicit online transactions. The research aims to raise awareness about the nature and uses of the dark web. |
