Author(s) Mr. Amit Kumar Tripathy, Dr. Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak
Country India
Abstract This article examines the socio-legal dimensions of the incident, situates it within the broader context of rural banking systems in India and analyzes its implications for policy reform and human dignity in administrative processes. The study adopts a qualitative case-study approach using secondary sources and media reports. The article suggests that structural illiteracy, procedural rigidity and weak institutional communication contributed significantly to the crisis. The article concludes with recommendations for simplifying death claim procedures by improving grassroots financial governance systems and strengthening monitoring mechanisms and logistical support is essential for improving service delivery under the scheme.
