| Abstract | The present study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Beta vulgaris (Beetroot), Rosa indica (Rose), and Brassica oleracea (Red cabbage) extracts as natural PH indicators. The extracts were prepared using aqueous extraction and tested in various acid-base titrations. Distinct colour changes were observed at different PH levels and compared with synthetic indicators. The results demonstrated that all three extracts effectively indicated end points, with Rosa indica and Beta vulgaris showing sharper colour transitions. These natural indicators are economical, biodegradable, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly alternatives to synthetic indicators. |
