Abstract Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) play a vital role in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) by enabling real-time communication between vehicles and roadside infrastructure. However, the dynamic and open communication environment makes VANETs vulnerable to cyber-attacks such as Denial-of-Service (DoS), Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS), Sybil, and Blackhole attacks, which can affect network performance and road safety.
