Author(s) Dr. Rama Rao Gangadhara Sakha, Dr. Seetha Ram Vedantam
Country India
Abstract The goal of this research is to perform both a bibliometric analysis and a thematic analysis on the current implementation of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the role it is taking in the overall global climate finance governance structure from 2015 to 2026. In order to achieve this objective, the authors selected 44 peer reviewed studies published in Scopus which utilized a modified search strategy. Using Biblioshiny (RStudio), and VOSviewer, the authors developed and analyzed a set of publication trends; author collaboration; keyword co-occurrence; and thematic structures based upon these articles. The results represent the most complete bibliometric representation of the GCF's implementation in academia with its many disciplines and identified gaps. The findings offer an agenda for future research to support evidence-based decision making and processes related to more equitable and transparent governance arrangements between climate and finance.
