| Abstract | This study determined the level of school implementation of the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program and its influence on learners' reading development in the selected public elementary schools in Buenavista II District, Division of Bohol during the School Year 2025–2026. Specifically, it assessed the level of implementation of the ARAL Program in terms of planning, instructional delivery, learning materials, and monitoring; determined the level of learners' reading development in terms of word recognition, reading fluency, and reading comprehension; and examined the significant relationship between the implementation of the ARAL Program and learners' reading development. A descriptive-correlational research design employing a quantitative approach was utilized. The respondents consisted of teachers from Cambuhat Elementary School, Dait Norte Elementary School, and Buenavista II Central Elementary School. Data were gathered through a validated researcher-made questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, percentage, weighted mean, standard deviation, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient. The findings revealed that the implementation of the ARAL Program was Very High across all dimensions, while learners' reading development was Very High in word recognition and reading fluency and High in reading comprehension. Moreover, a significant positive relationship was found between the implementation of the ARAL Program and learners' reading development, indicating that effective program implementation contributes to improved reading outcomes. Based on the findings, an Instructional Supervision Enhancement Plan was developed to strengthen the implementation of the ARAL Program and further improve learners' reading development. |
