| Abstract | The goal was to help visually impaired individuals and elderly people living alone manage their medication and daily healthcare independently, reducing risk and isolation. Many patients rely on caregivers to remember medication schedules, dosages, and refills, which can lead to missed doses and health complications. To address this, we developed a voice-first AI assistive system for intelligent medication management and real-time safety support. The system allows users to upload prescriptions, which are automatically processed to extract key details such as patient information, drug names, dosages, and schedules. Based on this data, the assistant provides clear voice reminders, announcing medication names and doses at the right time. It tracks taken and missed doses, monitors stock levels, and generates adherence reports, health scores, and refill alerts. Additionally, live location tracking enhances safety by enabling caregivers to monitor users when needed. Notifications such as adherence updates, low stock alerts, and location details are sent via phone or email. |
