| Abstract | Cerebellopontine Angle tumors disrupt the auditory system through different mechanisms. Acoustic tumors seems to affect cochlear function more predominantly. Nonacoustic tumors seems to affect neural mechanisms more. Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emission is a wonderful tool to study this aspect. The present study conducted in the Indian context is the first of its kind considering the large number of CPA tumor patients evaluated. |
