Abstract | Indian society is known for its vast diversity in terms of region, language, religion, caste, and tribe. While this diversity enriches culture and knowledge, it also gives rise to inequalities and marginalization of certain groups. This paper critically examines the dimensions of diversity, inequality, and marginalization in Indian society and analyses their implications for education. The study highlights constitutional provisions, policy measures like RTE 2009 and NEP 2020, and suggests strategies for inclusive and equitable education. |
