| Abstract | Energy theft causes major non-technical losses and reduces grid reliability. This project proposes an IoT-based system using smart meters to monitor electrical parameters in real time. Machine learning and rule-based analytics detect abnormal consumption and theft, generating instant alerts. The solution improves detection accuracy, reduces manual effort, and supports sustainable smart grid management. |
