Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming libraries and reference services by enhancing information retrieval, automating routine tasks, and improving user engagement. Modern libraries are evolving from traditional repositories of books into intelligent knowledge hubs supported by AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics. This paper explores the role of AI in library management systems, digital libraries, cataloguing, reference services, and user personalization.
