The Architecture of Peer Learning

Author(s) Shefali Anurag Mathur, Mrs. Shefali Mathur

Abstract This research explores the "Social Learning Model," specifically focusing on Peer Observation—the act of learning by watching our equals. While traditional learning comes from a teacher, this study argues that "Horizontal Learning" (student-to-student) is a vital tool for academic success. Our research indicates that observing a peer activates mirror neurons in the brain, allowing for mental rehearsal of complex tasks. The findings suggest that this method increases classroom focus by 28.82% and boosts student confidence by 15.3%.
